Description SummaryThe research engineer will work with the PI on facilitating the lab’s ongoing research projects in the immersive system.
Responsibilities- Designing, implementing, and testing an edge‑assisted hardware testbed.
- Integrating our mobile robotic platform for human‑centered AR evaluation and multi‑camera systems for visual offloading and 3‑D reconstruction.
- Assist the PI in preparing preliminary results and manuscript drafts for proposal and paper submissions.
- M.S. in Robotics Engineering or a related engineering/computing field.
- Hands‑on experience with ROS
2. - Experience developing, integrating, or operating mobile robots, manipulators, or mobile‑manipulation systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
Salary is $72,000 depending on experience.
