We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to oversee mechanical systems and ensure efficient operations across the organization. The role involves leading engineers and technicians, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of engineers and technicians to manage mechanical‑related systems.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate engineering projects to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators, analyze data, and address issues or bottlenecks.
- Supervise and train engineering staff for the safe and efficient operation of the Central Plant and Energy Management Systems.
- Perform preventative and major maintenance of central plant machinery and HVAC equipment campus‑wide.
- Formulate and implement energy‑savings operations and sequences of operations for the central plant.
- Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts.
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and proactive mindset to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and senior management.
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating and supervising multi‑boiler and multi‑chiller installations.
- Knowledge of computerized energy management systems.
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Stationary Engineer license preferred.
- Valid driver’s license if operating community vehicles.
- Certifications:
AFE Certified Professional Supervisor (CPS) within one year of hire, EPA 608 Universal certification, NFPA 70E certification, OSHA 10‑Hour General Industry certification—all within one year of hire.
- Annual salary: $84,000 – $104,000, commensurate with experience.
