We are seeking a System Engineer Support Level 2 to support a prime contract delivering technical solutions for large‑scale data processing. The role involves legacy‑to‑cloud transitions and data‑flow engineering within commercial cloud, high‑performance computing, and enterprise architecture domains.
Responsibilities & Qualifications- Apply systems engineering principles throughout the system life cycle: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
- Interact with the government regarding technical considerations and resolve associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
- Communicate with program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
- Ensure technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables linked to ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
- Define stakeholder requirements, conduct analysis, design architecture, implement, integrate, verify, transition, validate, operate, maintain, and dispose systems.
- Lead project planning, assessment, control, risk, configuration, information, and measurement management.
- Manage projects, portfolio, infrastructure, lifecycle, human resources, quality, and agreements.
- Contribute to documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
- Manage system and derived requirements for production system delivery.
- Utilize DoDAF, SOA, and coordinate resource allocation.
- Resolve CCB, design, program, review, and test review items involving cross‑discipline coordination.
- Perform technical alternative analysis and provide preliminary recommendations.
- Assist in ISO/IEC 15288 process areas and prepare work products.
- Strong written and verbal communication; detail oriented; excellent customer relationship skills.
- High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of systems engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or related discipline with 2 years of experience.
- Master’s or PhD in an engineering field or related discipline (or higher).
Current, active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
