USD $18.00 - $20.61 per hour.
In this role, you will provide support to and gain hands‑on experience in data science, analytics, and model monitoring. Assist with the development of analytical processes, reporting, and insights that support the management of a multi‑product consumer finance loan portfolio. Gain exposure to consumer finance data, portfolio performance, and cross‑functional business priorities while contributing to initiatives that help improve decision‑making and business outcomes.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Using SQL, Python, and other tools, conduct analytical analyses and develop recommendations aimed at improving business outcomes and profitability.
- Develop reporting packages used to update senior management and external stakeholders on portfolio performance.
- Represent the Data Science department in cross‑functional projects and partner across the organization to execute on key business priorities.
- May perform additional functions depending on market demand and staffing in order to provide consistent quality customer service.
- Current Master of Business or Bachelor/Master of Science student in a quantitative field of study (statistics, economics, finance, engineering, etc.) with an exceptional academic record.
- Power user of AI (ChatGPT, Vibe coding, etc.), Python, SQL, and Excel (pivots, advanced formulas, macros).
- Self‑starter with an exceptional work ethic, motivation, and desire to learn.
- Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Exposure to or experience with AWS or other cloud‑based data platforms.
Monday through Friday. Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced. To the extent permitted by law, the company may, in its sole discretion, change the work schedule to address business needs.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; operate computer and phone systems; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee is required to be physically present in the office. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
