Financial Analyst, Risk Manager/Analyst
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Journeyman-level Business & Financial Management (BFM) Specialist to support NAVAIR program offices with full-scope financial planning, execution, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have direct Comptroller, Program Offices or Sub-Command experience and be fully proficient in Navy ERP financial processes, including document creation, G-Invoicing, reconciliation, and use of various financial tools for execution monitoring, and reporting.
- Create and process financial documents in Navy ERP such as PRs, funding documents, and GR/IR actions
- Collaborate on the development, management and monitoring of program budgets, including formulation, justification, and execution
- Perform execution analysis, variance identification, burn rate calculations, planning, and forecasting
- Reconcile program funding and obligations across Navy ERP, PBIS, and various DoN tools
- Prepare financial reports, briefs, and decision-support products for government customers
- Support milestones, financial deliverables, and respond to data calls
- Coordinate with PAE financial stakeholders such as DPAE BFMs, program managers and comptrollers.
- Ensure compliance with DoD FMR, FAR, PAE/NAVAIR business rules, and command policies and guidance.
Requirements:
- 3–7 years of experience in DoD, DON or NAVAIR financial management
- Hands-on Navy ERP and CSPT experience in a BFM or analyst role
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and produce actionable recommendations
- Experience supporting NAVAIR PMAs or affiliated organizations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and data analysis tools
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Desired Requirements:
- Knowledge of NAVAIR processes such as POM, mid-year execution, and contracting workflows
- Familiarity with DTS travel accounting and obligation processes
- Experience producing budget exhibits, spend plans, and financial artifacts
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Experience supporting NAWCAD, NAWCWD, or NAVAIR headquarters teams
At Sabre Systems, LLC, compensation is based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific requirements; however, final compensation will be determined by individual qualifications and applicable contract terms. The general salary range for this position is as follows: $95,000.00 - $
