Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Actuary to support actuarial modeling, valuation, and risk analysis across life insurance products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in actuarial modeling, product analysis, and financial risk assessment within the life insurance domain.
The role involves supporting strategic business initiatives, improving actuarial processes, and delivering actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities Actuarial Analysis & Modeling- Perform actuarial analyses for life insurance products including Term Life, Universal Life, Pension Risk Transfer (PRT).
- Develop, maintain, and validate actuarial models for pricing, valuation, and forecasting.
- Analyze experience data and trends to support business insights and decision‑making.
- Support product design, pricing, and profitability analysis.
- Assess and quantify risks associated with insurance portfolios.
- Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and business optimization.
- Perform quality assurance and validation of actuarial models and tools.
- Ensure models adhere to internal standards and actuarial best practices.
- Maintain documentation for models and methodologies.
- Collaborate with Finance, Investments, IT, Product, and Underwriting teams.
- Translate complex actuarial concepts into business insights.
- Support enterprise transformation and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure compliance with actuarial standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide documentation and support for actuarial assumptions and results.
- 5–10 years of actuarial experience in life insurance.
- Strong experience in actuarial modeling, risk assessment, and product analysis.
- ASA (Associate of the Society of Actuaries) — Required.
- FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) — Preferred.
- Experience with actuarial tools: GGY Axis (Preferred), MG-ALFA.
- Strong programming and analytics skills: SQL, Python, VBA.
- Experience working with large datasets and automation tools.
- Strong understanding of life insurance products and actuarial principles.
- Knowledge of actuarial modeling methodologies, assumptions, and financial projections.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate in cross‑functional teams.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
