Senior Accountant

Our client, a Logistics company is actively looking for a Senior Accountant on a hybrid basis in Frederick, MD. They are looking to hire quickly!

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Controlling: Follow-up on project/product economy in collaboration with project managers to ensure project/product reporting shows the correct picture of ongoing and completed projects. Here under correct budgets on projects, registration of cost, WIP calculations, and invoicing is done timely and accurately.
• Service Invoicing: Follow-up on service in collaboration with service manager to ensure service reporting shows the correct picture of ongoing and completed service. Hereunder correct service budgets, registration of cost, WIP calculations, invoicing is done timely and accurately.
• Accounts Payables & Receivables: Manage and oversee the handling of accounts payables and receivables and following-up with customers regarding overdue/payments.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial reports and ensure reporting to HQ for the Logistics Business Unit.
• Business Support: Conduct analyses for local management and HQ.

Future Responsibilities:

• Legal Entity Setup: Within the next year, a separate legal entity for Logistics will be created, and you will become the Finance Manager for this company, with overall responsibility for financial accuracy.
• ERP Implementation: You will play a key role in the transition to Business Central Dynamics 365 in 2025.

We will need a person that can be physically in our Frederick office in average 2-3 days a week, this both to ensure the needed training and also to keep a close relation to the staff in Frederick.
