Trading Operations Change the Bank (CTB) within ISGPO is a global team that acts as a center of change and project management excellence for Trading Operations. We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Trading Ops CTB to plan and execute Middle Office projects with significant risk and / or strategy implications in partnership with business units and technology across all of Morgan Stanley's cash and derivatives asset classes.
Whatyou'll do in the role:
- Product Ownership of small-scale initiatives in agile construct
- Project Management leading small and medium sized projects across the Global Loans Operations
- Executing the Middle Office technology roadmap in close collaboration with our technology partners
- Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team
- Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements
- Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output
- The role will be able to fully bring to bear strong financial services expertise and strong Project Execution skills The role will be able to fully bring to bear strong Derivatives subject matter expertise and strong Project Execution skills, and deep People and Stakeholder management acumen:
- Ideal candidate will have prior Run the Bank or Change experience - Deep understanding of front-to-back processes and platforms around trade lifecycle
- Ability to continuously execute small and medium sized change projects and realize value for the business and for Trading Operations.
- Projects include but are not limited to - new and enhanced business capabilities, efficiency and scalability gains for the Middle Office and beyond, and enhanced operational risk management and controls
- Strong delivery record in line or change space
- Experience in managing projects with remote stakeholders and users
- Ability to hold delivery partners in Operations and Technology accountable
- Ability to partner effectively with stakeholders in the Business, Operations, Technology, and relevant enterprise functions, to execute the Trading Ops Change agenda
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
