The Audit Compliance Analyst evaluates State agencies' audit findings resolution plans, monitors corrective action implementation, and reports on compliance with audit recommendations. Based in Annapolis or Baltimore, the role involves reviewing Office of Legislative Audit reports, assessing agency action plans, communicating with auditors and agency personnel, and preparing compliance reports.
Key Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience conducting audits including finance, compliance, and program results elements
- Experience auditing government or legislative systems, policies, and programs (federal, state or local)
- Prior experience working within state government
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and their application to complex problems
