Supporting the Risk Manager, The Clinical Risk Management Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the facility’s risk management and patient safety programs. This role involves systematically investigating clinical incidents, participates in Preliminary Review Huddles (PRH), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Situation Calls, assists with compliance of a Patient Right Joint Commission standards, Leap Frog section on informed consent, federal and state laws, work directly with frontline staff to provide outreach on concepts of risk management and patient safety, lead daily efforts to conduct high risk rounding to ensure patient and staff safety.
Supports the Mission of Frederick Health and complies with the hospital’s Code of Conduct and Standards of Behavior.
5 years of experience in healthcare setting.
Risk Management or related experience and data analysis experience preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Understanding of healthcare regulatory knowledge.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Systems. Experience using data analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
Experience in developing and carrying out training and education of staff.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks;
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, act independently and uphold ethical standards.

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.
Salary Range - $76,190.40 - $109,512
Hours:
Business Hours, Monday-Friday; on site. Reports directly to and supports the Risk Manager.
Required:
Associates or better.
Bachelors of Nursing or better.
Experience5 years:
