About the Position
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00/Hourly.

Shift: Monday - Friday / Day.

Summary:

This is a large multidisciplinary team with approximately 40 clinicians. Fast paced hospital environment where clinicians treat a variety of diagnoses with a common mix of orthopedics, neurological, behavioral health, and critical care caseloads.

Responsibilities:

Deliver quality occupational therapy services according to treatment plans for patients.

Document with web-based software and documentation system (EMR).

Meet all clinical, departmental, and regulatory expectations (Productivity standards 65% - 75% on a daily basis, 21-24 billable units / day).

Provide accurate and timely documentation for current patient caseload.

Conduct patient and family education as well as with hospital staff (physicians and nursing teams) .

Requirements
Requirements:

Degree from a ACOTE accredited school.

Current state licensure or eligibility in Occupational Therapy in Maryland.

Has one (1) year hospital acute care experience.

Experience running Occupational Therapy groups a plus.

Strong documentation in an EMR (preferrably hospital based system).

BLS Certification.
