This position is a full performance level of work providing administration and coordination of the WIC program to eligible program participants in Frederick County. This position will direct program activities and supervise WIC personnel as well as implement program regulations and analyze performance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Education:
Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. - Experience:
Three years of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources. - Notes:
- 1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
- 2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
- Supervisory experience in a public health program
- Budget/Grant experience in coordinating or managing a budget
- Experience with program staff scheduling for in-person coverage
