, you'll work alongside experienced Occupational, Physical, and Speech Therapists treating a diverse inpatient population in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. You’ll work with a diverse inpatient population including:

• Neurological conditions
• Orthopedic injuries
• Post-surgical patients
• Critical care
• Behavioral health
• General medical patients

As an Occupational Therapist, you'll help patients regain independence, improve function, and safely transition to the next stage of recovery.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of acute care diagnoses
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Improve patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, adaptive strategies, and discharge recommendations
• Document care using EMR
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals
• Maintain clinical, departmental, and regulatory standards
  
  Foster a collaborative, patient-first care environment

• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Maryland Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility)
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills

• Acute care or hospital experience
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience with EMR documentation
