We are a mission-driven behavioral health organization expanding access to higher-acuity residential care for youth and families.

As part of that growth, we are building a new psychiatric residential treatment program in Maryland and are looking for an experienced residential behavioral health leader to help bring it to life. This is an opportunity to step into a true facility leadership seat with meaningful ownership across operations, clinical delivery, team development, regulatory readiness, and the successful launch of a new program.

We're looking for someone who understands what it takes to operate in a complex residential environment—not from a distance, but from inside the work.

This is more than stepping into an established program and maintaining what's already there. You'll have the opportunity to help build, launch, and shape a new PRTF operation from the ground up.

We're seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Administrator – PRTF to lead the development, launch, and ongoing operation of a new psychiatric residential treatment program in Maryland.

This role requires a leader who has been close to the actual operation of residential behavioral healthcare. You'll be responsible for bringing together the clinical, operational, regulatory, financial, and people components required to open the program successfully and operate it at a high level.

• Lead day-to-day operations of the psychiatric residential treatment program
• Help move the program through launch readiness and into successful admissions
• Recruit, develop, and lead a multidisciplinary residential team
• Establish effective staffing and scheduling practices
• Maintain strong regulatory, licensing, and compliance standards
• Partner closely with clinical, psychiatric, nursing, and operational leadership
• Oversee census development, admissions, discharges, and overall program capacity
• Maintain accountability for budget and operational performance
• Ensure effective incident management, treatment coordination, and quality processes
• Build operating systems and leadership rhythms that support safe, consistent care
• Create a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and service to youth and families

• Significant leadership experience within psychiatric residential treatment, RTC, PRTF, or a closely comparable higher-acuity residential behavioral health setting
