The Director of Population Health, Innovation, and Informatics directs the Garrett County Health Department's population health, informatics, communications, strategic planning, accreditation, and quality improvement functions. This position provides agency-wide leadership for systems supporting public health planning, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement, and oversees staff in communications, data science, informatics, and population-level epidemiology.
Key qualifications:- Six years of administrative staff or professional work experience (or equivalent substitutions with education)
- Master's degree in Public Health (desired)
- Experience working in population health (desired)
- Valid Maryland motor vehicle operator's license required for assigned duties
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university (substitutable for experience)
