Special Events Catering and Event Lead

The Special Events Catering and Event Lead plans, executes, and oversees departmental events for PCC and its affiliates. The role maintains detailed event records, trains, and develops employees to ensure excellent banquets and departmental events.

• Plan and execute departmental events using Net Menu.
• Ensure the highest quality of finished products and services for the client.
• Provide detailed production plans for each event.
• Order and personally verify all products for assigned events.
• Communicate any issues and solutions to the Special Events General Manager.
• Oversee events to guarantee a high‑quality delivery.
• Maintain detailed event records, including timelines, menus, photographs, ordered products, issues, staffing needs, facility needs, departmental needs, employee performance, and other relevant details.
• Ensure proper stewardship of all products and labor used.
• Provide in‑the‑moment training for employees and the catering team to foster growth.
• Keep event production on time and on budget.
• Advocate for PCC and continuously assess and improve products and services; stay current with culinary trends, preparation methods, and equipment innovations.

• FLSA Status:
  Non‑exempt (Scanning).
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 1+ year in high‑volume catering.

• Ability to lift 20+ pounds.
• Capacity for standing and walking for long periods.
• Detail‑oriented.
• Proficiency with menu‑planning software.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
