Recruiting and Event Manager

Workforce Brokers is hiring a Recruiting & Event Manager to lead staffing for special events and high-volume assignments across the Washington DC-Baltimore area.

What you'll own:

• Recruit and screen candidates for event roles (servers, bartenders, cooks, ushers, captains, supervisors, and more)
• Build event-specific staffing plans, including overfill and backup rosters
• Manage the full staffing cycle: rosters, scheduling, confirmations, and onsite check-in/check-out
• Run onsite event operations, including resolving callouts, monitoring performance, and handling issues in real time
• Serve as the primary client contact before, during, and after each event
• Ensure accurate timekeeping, payroll documentation, and compliance (I-9, E-Verify, background checks, certifications)

What we're looking for:

• Experience in staffing, recruiting, or event/hospitality management
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple events under tight timelines
• Willingness to work event hours, including evenings/weekends as needed
• A high sense of urgency, accountability, and attention to detail

Success in This Role Is Measured By

Event fill rate and overfill accuracy, quality and volume of hires, employee attendance and reliability, roster accuracy, client satisfaction and retention, payroll and timekeeping accuracy, recruiting response time, compliance results, and successful event execution without preventable staffing shortages.
