Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH! MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer‑oriented SAP Functional Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Fort Detrick, Maryland. This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Expanded telework options are available for exceptional candidates on a case‑by‑case basis.
Man Tech is hiring a senior SAP Funds Management (FM) functional expert to support our Department of War (DoW) client in Frederick, MD. We are seeking a candidate with proven expertise in configuring and integrating SAP business processes, including MM‑IM, MM‑WM, SD, PP, and MM‑Purchasing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP FM budget entries, commitments, ledgers, reconciliations, and year‑end close procedures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support SAP FM/FI requirements for the enterprise‑level medical logistics system as a member of the Funds Management business process team.
- Assist in development and deployment related activities for functional areas including blueprinting, functional design specification development, technical design specification reviews, functional system configuration, test script development and execution, training material development, business process procedure development, and functional area specific conversions and activities.
- Provide support for system changes related to functional area, including adhering to strict configuration management policies and procedures, to include creating/updating related documentation – functional design specs, training materials, test scripts, level of effort estimates, etc.
- Coordinate, plan, and execute the SAP fiscal year end closing process.
- Must have active CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ CE or higher certification.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 12 years of experience in SAP’s Funds Management (FM)/ Financial Accounting (FI).
- Knowledge and configuration experience in SAP with the formulation of systems account structure, FM derivation strategies, fund centers, functional area, and commitment items.
- Familiarity with Government regulations like FISCAM, SFIS, etc.
- Experience with lifecycle development of SAP customizations, enhancements, system requirements and functional specifications, testing, and training material.
- Must have strong functional knowledge of MS Office products:
Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Public Sector SAP experience preferred.
- Experience with medical logistics preferred.
- Other relevant SAP module experience:
Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Inventory Management, Production Planning, Warehouse Management.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing and able to obtain a Public Trust suitability and undergo a Tier 3 Investigation for DoD Common Access Card (CAC) eligibility only.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co‑workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
The projected compensation range for this position is $–$. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
