This position supports, and is responsible for incorporating into job performance, the Frederick Health (FH) mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy and adheres to the FH Compliance Program, including following all regulatory requirements and the FH Standards of Behavior. A Microsoft SharePoint/Teams Administrator manages, maintains, and optimizes collaboration platforms, handling site creation, user permissions, security, and integrations with other M365 services, providing technical support, training users, and implementing governance to ensure efficient document management, communication, and digital workflows for the organization.
Key duties involve user support, permission management, site/collection administration, monitoring performance, data migration, documentation, and aligning platform features with business needs, including managing Teams meetings, calls, and devices.
- Platform Management
:
Oversee SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams infrastructure, including setup, security, and maintenance. - User & Permissions
:
Manage user access, site collection creation, group management, and permission levels for sites, lists, and content. - Support & Training
:
Act as a primary contact for issues, troubleshoot user problems, develop SOPs, and provide end-user training and guidance. - Collaboration Features
:
Configure and manage Teams, One Drive, document libraries, lists, workflows, and integration with other M365 apps. - Security & Compliance
:
Work with Security Team to Implement security policies, manage data retention, and handle data purges as required. - Performance & Monitoring
:
Review logs, monitor system health, manage backups, and ensure optimal performance. - Development & Integration
:
Design and implement solutions, develop custom sites, and integrate SharePoint/Teams with other business systems.
- Creating new Teams, managing Team settings, and setting up meeting policies.
- Configuring document libraries, lists, and site templates.
- Troubleshooting login issues, call quality problems, or slow performance.
- Developing user guides for new features or processes.
- Performing data migrations from older systems to SharePoint Online.
Skills and Abilities
- SharePoint: Site architecture, permissions, content types, workflows, search, and administration.
- Microsoft Teams: Meeting/call management, device management, calling policies, and tenant administration.
- Technical
Skills:
Power Shell, security best practices, data migration, system monitoring. - Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, collaboration, user training, and project support.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience administrating SharePoint and Teams as listed above.

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.
Salary range: $90,494.98 - $129,688
Flexible schedule - 40 hours per week
