Kentro is hiring a Data Analyst to support the Defense Health Agency and the Medical Logistics IT division. This role will support the MEDLOG IT PMO as it leads the charge to replace capabilities in legacy MEDLOG IT applications and fully implement Logi Cole. Upon reaching full operating capability, Logi Cole will roll all legacy medical logistics applications into a single, web-based application and provide an enterprise view of all logistics lines of business.

This role will be a pivotal part of the implementation of Logi Cole and the decommissioning of legacy applications – providing intuitive user interfaces, leveraging authoritative product and sourcing data, and fully integrating federal and industry partners.

• Complete functional data analysis based on current business problems.
• Support a data validation pipeline to ensure all data validation meets established requirements.
• Coordinate requirements/acceptance criteria with the functional community and validate that the product meets the acceptance criteria prior to accepting functionality.
• Within the DML-ES systems, help manage multiple types of data from multiple sources, including anticipated changes based on phase of project implementation.
• Support implementation of solutions that standardize, integrate, and provide a unified view of the business entities in all contexts.
• Provide analysis of legacy medical logistics transactional, data and reporting capabilities.
• Work across value streams to lead and support project management activities in the implementation of the Logi Cole application.
• Support various strategic and business process improvement efforts.
• Make improvement recommendations in collaboration with Government Leads and Product Owners.
• Support data migration and validation efforts for all MVCs throughout Logi Cole implementation.
• Potential for data validation automation implementation.

The primary work location is on-site at Fort Detrick, MD. If the candidate meets all client requirements, possible work arrangements can be made for other locations. Travel may be required up to 10% based on project needs.

• 5+ years’ experience in Data Science or related field
• Experience with Mongo DB, Post Gres, Python, SQL, Java, Nifi
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in related field or applicable experience
• Experience as a management consultant / business analyst supporting federal government customers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• DoD experience and / or familiarity strongly preferred
• Experience using statistical methods for the measurement of outcomes

• Experience with federal supply chain, policies, processes and data
• Experience with Medical Logistics

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Must be a US Citizen
