Senior DevOps Engineer - Clearance Required

SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER – CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems, Cyber & Intelligence is seeking a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to support data‑driven cybersecurity solutions. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automation, and monitoring for the NAPR and Tools teams supporting the Data Transformation Solutions (DTS) TTO.

• Manage and build CI/CD pipelines to production environments for NAPR and Tools teams.
• Provide automation, scripting, and feature development support for monitoring and reporting.
• Build and support virtual machines and containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Configure and harden COTS application configurations.
• Implement and maintain data transformation, malware analysis, and cyber threat intelligence capabilities.

• Dev Ops Engineer with experience managing production pipelines.
• Skilled in automation, scripting, and monitoring tools.
• Experienced with Linux system administration.
• Proficient in AWS cloud computing and related services.
• Familiar with Jenkins, Apache NiFi, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Strong background in Kubernetes and Docker deployment and configuration.
• Certified TS/SCI with Polygraph required; additional security clearance is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• 14+ years of software engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity.
• Additional experience on similar software processes may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Linux system administration with command‑line tools (ps, netstat, top, SSH, grep).
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment expertise.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and related orchestration tools.

• Cloud computing skills (AWS).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
• Experience building and supporting VMs on corporate solutions.
• Experience with Apache NiFi.
• Experience with visualization/reporting tools (Grafana, Kibana).
• Experience with Jenkins.
• Experience hardening COTS application configuration.

TS/SCI with Polygraph (SP) required.

• Full‑time onsite:
  Works at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
• Schedule:
  
  9x80 every other Friday off.
• Location:
  
  Maryland (primary) and Texas (small contingent).
• Pay Range: $150,800 – $265,880 annually (specific to state; subject to final work location).
