Job Description
ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED.
The Data Scientist will devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets. They will make and communicate principled conclusions from data using mathematics, statistics, computer science, and domain knowledge. Through analytic modeling, statistical analysis, programming, and other scientific methods, they will develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets in various states of organization, cleanliness, and structure.
They will translate mission needs and analytic questions into technical requirements, assist others in drawing appropriate conclusions, and effectively communicate complex technical information to non‑technical audiences. They will make informed recommendations regarding competing technical solutions while maintaining awareness of evolving data capabilities.
The annual base salary range for this role is $149,000‑$176,000 (USD), which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or the comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation may vary based on geography, experience, education, and skill level.
Required Skills- Experience with process automation for reporting.
- Designing scalable ETL workflows and implementing incremental and batch data ingestion with robust data validation.
- Data transformation and modeling using SQL and Python (Pandas, PySpark, or Polars).
- Preprocessing, minimizing, filtering, normalizing, aggregating, and reshaping datasets for reporting.
- Automating dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Maintaining Python automation packages to be utilized by agency personnel.
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or Associate's degree plus 12 years of relevant experience.

Flexibility to work 30‑32 hours per week while maintaining full benefits.
