Lifecycle Support Specialist Position Overview
Support large, complex hardware and software systems in the Intel Sector’s Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA). Duties include hardware/software control, tracking, maintenance, data management, and continuous process improvement.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide hardware and software control, tracking, and management support.
- Research and update hardware maintenance, software support, and license information; maintain supporting documentation.
- Research and update lifecycle information for hardware and software, including End of Life, End of Life Support, and End of Sale status.
- Generate reports or provide data to support technical team requests.
- Support continuous process improvement and validate data within the Hardware and Software Data Management System.
- Provide back‑up support for the Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) report.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, and at least 8 years of relevant experience (or experience may substitute for a degree).
- Minimum 8 years of government purchasing, data management, hardware/software management, and quality control experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following: data management and maintenance support for large scale systems; software license support; hardware warranties and maintenance; government hardware/software purchasing; documenting hardware/software lifecycle data.
- Detail‑oriented, able to handle time‑sensitive tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, capable of planning and prioritizing tasks independently.
- Disciplined researcher and troubleshooter, willing to work until problems are resolved.
- Positive attitude and excellent people skills.
- Clearance Required:
TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Hands‑on system administration/help desk experience related to hardware and software maintenance.
- Formal quality assurance or configuration management experience on a large technical system.
- Experience establishing, documenting, and implementing process improvements.
- Experience working with financial data.
$82,550.00 – $ (general guideline).
