Network Engineer OnSite

Job Description About the Role

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's network infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that our network is secure, reliable, and efficient. Your main goal will be to ensure that our network meets the needs of our business and supports our growth.

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering or related field
• Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs
• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, such as Wireshark and Solar Winds
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Federal Security Clearance

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification
• Experience with cloud networking, such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with software-defined networking (SDN) technologies, such as Cisco, Juniper, or Palo Alto

• Design and implement network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Collaborate with IT team to ensure network security and compliance with company policies
• Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams and configurations
• Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed

In this role, you will use your strong technical skills to design and implement network infrastructure that meets the needs of our business. You will also use your analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot network issues and recommend improvements. Additionally, your communication and collaboration skills will be essential as you work closely with our IT team to ensure network security and compliance with company policies.

Finally, your ability to stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies will be critical as you recommend upgrades or improvements to our network infrastructure.
