We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dev Ops Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with containerization technologies, and a deep understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS. This role requires a hands‑on professional who is passionate about automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development process
• Develop and manage containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on VMWare or AWS infrastructure
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system operations
• Ensure security best practices are implemented across all stages of the development lifecycle
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, configurations, and architecture

• Minimum of 14 years of Dev Ops experience supporting Linux‑based systems on similar programs and contracts
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience can substitute for a Bachelor’s degree

• Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect)
• Experience documenting and implementing security controls to Linux operating systems
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, or similar container and orchestration technologies
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams

• Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance

Base pay range for this position: $120,500 - $221,800 USD (determined by labor costs and office location).
