• Lead a team of software and Dev Ops engineers delivering secure, reliable, mission-focused solutions.
• Design, build, and enhance Java and Spring-based microservices in a modern containerized environment.
• Develop and maintain Apache NiFi workflows, including custom processors, to support data ingestion and processing at scale.
• Work with Dev Ops teams to improve throughput, expand cluster capacity, and keep pace with growing data volume and velocity.
• Support production systems through Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Use Linux command line tools to investigate issues, manage services, and support daily engineering operations.
• Improve platform stability, observability, and performance using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
• Help build a team culture centered on strong engineering, shared ownership, and reliable delivery.

• Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances.
• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen. We cannot sponsor visas.
• Experience: 20 years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four additional years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

  5 years of demonstrated cloud experience with distributed, scalable big data stores such as HBase, Cloud Base or Accumulo, Big Table, or similar technologies.
