Supporting Maryland state agencies in system modernization, this role offers the chance to contribute to the state's long-term health while growing professionally. All positions are onsite at various Maryland locations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data architecture.
• Define and enforce data architecture standards, principles, and best practices.
• Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and objectives.
• Identify and evaluate data management solutions and technologies.
• Implement data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
• Evaluate and optimize current systems.
• Create and update documentation.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or related field from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of experience as a data architect or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of data architecture principles and practices.
• Proficient in data modeling tools and knowledgeable of relational, non-relational, and graph databases.
