Job SummaryThe primary role of the System Administrator is to manage and support mission‑critical IT infrastructure. This role involves day‑to‑day operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Windows and UNIX systems. You’ll work directly with both hardware and software systems in a dynamic, multi‑platform environment.
Position Responsibilities- Provide Tier I and II IT support and problem resolution.
- Manage client/server/storage/network infrastructure.
- Configure and manage Red Hat Linux and Windows systems.
- Support vulnerability management using Nessus.
- Handle STE/STN scoring and documentation.
- Maintain POA&Ms and patch systems based on security and functional parameters.
- Collaborate with hardware vendors on system specs and refreshes.
- Analyze escalated issues and provide actionable feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field is required or equivalent combination of education, and experience.
- Minimum 10+ years of system administration experience.
- Strong Red Hat Linux and Windows (2012/2016/2019) troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with Nessus, POA&Ms, and STE/STN initiatives.
- Experience configuring UNIX and Windows environments.
- An active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
- Experience with virtual environments and system capacity planning.

In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
