Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Systems Administrator to support and maintain Linux‑based environments and core network infrastructure.
Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD
Salary: 122K - 208K

In this role, you will stand up, configure, and manage servers while ensuring systems and networking components—such as routers, switches, and firewalls—are properly monitored, patched, and upgraded. You will play a key role in maintaining security compliance, integrating new hardware and software into existing environments, and supporting system lifecycle activities, including installation, inventory management, and decommissioning. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on, operational environment and is committed to maintaining secure, reliable, and well‑documented systems.

• 10 years of system administration experience
• Proficient with Linux
• Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience within the last 3 years
• Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources
• Experience with virtual machines
• Security+ certification

• Working knowledge, ability to use and/or support, of the following resources and tools:
• Dell and HPE Linux servers
• Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
• Palo Alto firewalls
• Ansible
• Nutanix – VM management
• Rubrik – data storage
• Nomad containers
• SALT scripts
• LibreNMS
• Net Box

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field (or 5 additional years of system administration experience without a degree)
