Systems Administrator - TS​/SCI w​/Poly

Job Overview

Amentum is seeking a System Administrator 2 to provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems, and to support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

• Senior Tier level ticket support for one of the PKI tools
• Providing troubleshooting support for end users having issues with various PKI tools
• Testing new PKI tool releases
• Testing new compliance guidance per the functionality of the PKI tools
• Basic understanding of Windows desktop tools and Linux command line functions
• Reviewing and updating documentation and SOPs
• Understanding of using a ticketing system and navigating Confluence pages

• Safety – enforce safety culture, complete training, fulfill self‑aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participate in emergency response tasks, and serve on safety committees and teams.
• Quality – consistently provide services meeting customer expectations; conform to Amentum Quality Policy and carry out job activities in compliance with Amentum Quality System documents and customer contracts.
• Procedure Compliance – read, understand, and implement operational, safety, quality and environmental requirements of plans, procedures, and policies pertaining to the job.

• Minimum Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, or five additional years of work‑related experience for a total of twelve years.
• Minimum Years of
  
  Experience:
  
  Ten (10) years as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  Good understanding of Windows and Linux as an end user.

  Compliance with DoD 8570.01‑M with a minimum certification of IAT Level II.

$150,000 – $160,000 (annual salary)
