Travel:

About Us:
At Orases, we are dedicated to delivering innovative software solutions that empower our clients to achieve their business goals. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Product Manager to join our team.
Note:
Applicants must be U.S. based, able to work on US East Coast business time, and eligible to work in the U.S.
The Technical Product Manager owns client engagements end-to-end — from framing the business problem, through designing the technical architecture, to ensuring that measurable results are delivered. You'll lead discovery, make architectural decisions, guide engineering teams, write and review code, and serve as the single accountable point of contact between Orases clients and the teams building their software.
This is a hybrid role by design. Some weeks lean heavier on client strategy, others on technical delivery — but you never fully leave either world. If you've been the developer that gets pulled into client meetings because you understand their business, or the Product Manager who kept opening the codebase because you couldn’t lead what you didn’t understand, keep reading.
Discovery& Problem Framing
- Lead structured discovery to validate problem-solution fit, defining measurable success criteria with clients before committing to a solution direction
- Assess existing systems, identify integration points, and surface architectural risks early enough to inform scope and budget decisions
- Translate client business problems into technical problem statements that engineering teams can act on
- Identify and articulate the business value at stake in each engagement — quantifying the cost of the problem, the value of the solution, and the ROI that justifies the investment — to ensure Orases and the client are aligned on what success is worth, not just what it looks like
- Architect custom software solutions that balance technical quality with real-world constraints around budget, timeline, and existing client systems
- Produce solution designs, architecture diagrams, data models, and technical specifications clear enough for engineers to build from with confidence
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and third-party services appropriate to each engagement
- Define non-functional requirements — performance, security, scalability, maintainability — and ensure they're validated, not just documented.
- Design and implement AI-augmented solutions where appropriate, including LLM integrations, automation pipelines, and intelligent processing workflows
- Stay hands-on through delivery: review code, resolve technical blockers, make real-time design decisions, and ensure the implemented solution aligns with the intended architecture
- Orchestrate across design, engineering, QA, and client stakeholders to maintain alignment and keep delivery focused on the highest-value outcomes
- Develop accurate scope definitions and estimates that account for delivery model, complexity, and risk
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices through structured retrospectives and pattern recognition across engagements
- Build trusted advisor relationships that position Orases as a long-term strategic partner — not a vendor who takes orders
- Communicate with clarity and adaptability across audiences, from C-suite sponsors to senior engineers
- Manage expectations proactively, translating technical realities into business language and vice versa
- Proactively surface opportunities where Orases can deliver additional business value, translating technical capability into client-relevant outcomes that expand the relationship
- Support business development with architectural feasibility assessments, proof-of-concept development, and credible estimation
- Create preliminary designs, roadmaps, and high-level estimates that clearly communicate value and set realistic expectations
