Role Description s:

Job Summary Legal General America is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead the design| implementation| and optimization of enterprise-wide network infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the performance| security| and scalability of LGAs IT environment. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering| with a strong background in infrastructure| cloud integration| and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities Design| deploy| and maintain complex LAN| WAN| WLAN| and cloud-based network solutions.

Configure and support network equipment including routers| switches| firewalls| load balancers| VPNs| and proxy servers.

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal speed| reliability| and uptime.

Lead infrastructure upgrades| including service packs| patches| and security configurations.

Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect data and systems.

Collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to align network architecture with business goals.

Provide Level 23 support and serve as an escalation point for network-related issues.

Document network configurations| changes| and procedures for compliance and operational efficiency.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to strategic planning and technology roadmaps.

Required Qualifications Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science| Engineering| or related field.
10 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure management.

Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCPIP| BGP| OSPF| IPSEC| QoS).Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS| Juniper| Palo Alto| and other enterprise-grade systems.

Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Experience with cloud networking (Azure| AWS) and hybrid environments.

Professional certifications such as CCNP| CCIE| or CISSP are highly preferred. Preferred Skills

Experience with SD-WAN| MPLS| VLANs| and VoIP.Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise SaaS platforms.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
