Job Description
The Technical Program Manager is accountable for successful delivery of CXM's client accounts, collaborating across dentsu's Data & Technology Strategy, customer experience management, and Experience & Commerce practice areas to win and deliver client engagements. The role partners with the Solutions Team and Practice Area delivery leadership to define the vision and evolve the program management capability within CXM for managing large scale, diverse client engagements from RFP response to client sun setting.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the Head of Technical Advisory Services to develop and evangelize overall strategy and approach.
- Collaborate with Client Partner Leads to tailor engagement model frameworks and cross-service line approaches for pitch decks, RFP responses, and in-person pitches.
- Craft approach and timeline for the engagement model, including team structure, processes, toolset, and pricing.
- Design the engagement model for client engagements, defining team models, work streams, processes, and toolset.
- Prepare both client and internal kickoffs.
- Facilitate and conduct large workshops, managing multiple teams.
- Create or update story-based presentations to explain complex initiatives and problems.
- Act as a bridge builder between business and IT teams.
- Work comfortably with numbers for ROI, TCO, and other business models.
- Develop overall strategy and goals for multiple, large or complex initiatives.
- Manage the team and lead recruiting efforts for assigned roles.
- Own the team development process to train and develop team abilities.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
- Create and refine market best practices related to transformational initiatives.
- Standardize delivery methodology and scope sizing on accounts.
- Oversee Delivery Onboarding materials and ensure all project teams have project-specific onboarding.
- Run PMO on behalf of the client, as a member of the PMO/TMO.
- Ensure all programs are delivered on-schedule, on-budget, and meet the expectations of the agreed scope.
- Communicate all work streams across the account.
- Partner with leads to identify and lead remediation actions for escalated issues.
- Have strong understanding of data foundation, ETL, profiling, and data quality needs.
- Understand the value of cloud-based approaches (AWS, GCP, Azure) and implementations.
- Be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
- 15+ years of experience delivering large transformations, complex, global, scaled client engagements with star brands in a professional services environment.
- Experience bringing diverse teams together to deliver stellar digital experience work.
- Expertise as a program subject‑matter leader with global and complex roll-outs, guaranteeing successful execution of strategic initiatives.
- Experience partnering with other professional services organizations in client contexts.
- Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics and/or Salesforce.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
The annual base salary range for this position is $136,000 – $180,000. Placement within the range is based on experience, skills, and other factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
