Position Overview
Torch Technologies is seeking a TARCES Technical Writer to support the Tactical and Remote Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) Edge Systems (TARCES). The TARCES contract is managed by Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF).
Responsibilities- Develop and write technical documentation, including equipment manuals, appendices, and operating and maintenance instructions.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, user-friendly written materials.
- Assist with document layout and formatting to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Review and update technical content to reflect system or procedural changes.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field with 3+ years of related experience, OR Associate degree with 7+ years of related experience, OR High School diploma with 9+ years of related experience.
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. - Work Location:
Onsite, PAX River, Maryland. - Travel: 0–10%.

Salary range: $67,000–$121,000 (Hiring at multiple levels). The salary range information is a general guideline only. Several factors can influence the salary for a position including federal contract labor categories, geographic location, business considerations, scope and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity.
