Position Overview
We train like we fight! Join our dynamic team developing hands‑on training solutions as a Windows Systems Administrator in Hanover, MD. Support an infrastructure team that delivers a dynamic course curriculum.
Essential Responsibilities- Create, deploy and maintain Windows servers, desktops, and operating systems including Active Directory Domain Controllers.
- Design, test, prepare and deploy Active Directory GPOs, RBAC and automated server and workstation imaging and patching utilizing Windows MCM.
- Maintain and deploy workstation and thin client images through PXE boot, MCM and other image management platforms.
- Modify, disable and troubleshoot Active Directory user accounts, groups, objects and GPOs.
- Manage software rollouts and updates to Windows operating systems.
- Maintain Windows operating systems for SSP and STIG compliance; provide documentation to ISSO and management to satisfy security requirements.
- Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field; or 2+ years of networking‑related experience.
- Experience deploying and managing Windows desktop and server operating systems in bare metal and virtual environments.
- Experience creating, maintaining and deploying workstation and desktop images through PXE boot, MCM or other image management platforms.
- Experience managing and configuring Active Directory user accounts, groups, objects and GPOs.
- Basic network knowledge (TCP/IP, packet flow analysis) and network security principles.
- CompTIA Security+ CE required.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining MS SQL.
- In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Certificate Authorities and managing templates.
- Proficient in Power Shell for complex tasks.
- Experience troubleshooting interoperability in a hybrid Windows/Linux environment.
- Experience deploying hardened Windows servers for production use; familiarity with STIG guidance.
Top Secret SCI with FS Polygraph required.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $165,000 – $175,000
