Cloud Engineer Security Clearance

Overview

Kaizen Approach is seeking a Cloud Engineer to deploy, configure, and sustain a Cloud Ops platform within classified cloud environments. The role includes secure integration across AWS and/or Azure classified regions, leading platform buildout and lifecycle management, and ensuring compliance with FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53, and DoD SRG frameworks while maintaining Authority to Operate (ATO) status.

• Deploy, configure, and sustain a Cloud Ops platform within classified cloud environments.
• Securely integrate the platform across AWS and/or Azure classified regions in alignment with federal compliance standards.
• Lead platform buildout and lifecycle management activities, including deployment, upgrades, patching, and Tier 3 escalation support.
• Manage underlying infrastructure components such as Kubernetes, Helm, containerized services, and associated databases.
• Implement governance controls, policy enforcement mechanisms, and Fin Ops controls aligned to mission requirements.
• Collaborate with Delivery Manager to align technical execution with mission priorities while maintaining platform stability, security, and scalability.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Working knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800‑53, and DoD SRG frameworks, with experience supporting or maintaining ATO processes.
