Your mission as a Dev Ops‑focused Software Engineer is to build and sustain the automation, infrastructure, and deployment pipelines that power secure, scalable systems in a high‑impact mission environment. You will be responsible for container orchestration, full CI/CD lifecycle support, and infrastructure management in AWS to enable development teams to deliver quickly, reliably and securely.
- Design, deploy and manage Docker‑based container environments.
- Oversee AWS HCI configuration, deployment and resource management.
- Build and maintain Git Lab CI/CD pipelines supporting the full software development lifecycle.
- Apply infrastructure‑as‑code principles using Ansible, YAML and Terraform.
- Support integration and automation efforts across Dev Ops and development teams.
- Proactively troubleshoot and improve systems to support seamless delivery.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to streamline processes and enhance stability.
- 7+ years of relevant software or Dev Ops experience.
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Experience managing AWS HCI environments.
- Experience building and maintaining Git Lab CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Proficiency in YAML and JSON.
- Experience using EC2 instances.
- Experience with Ansible.
- Experience with Java.
- Experience with Type Script or JavaScript.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of networking and load balancing fundamentals.
- Familiarity with TLS, SSL and certificate management.
- Exposure to the ELK stack for system monitoring and log analysis.
- Interest or experience in transitioning from Docker to Kubernetes clusters.
