Artificial Intelligence Specialist

As a specialist, you will apply AI tools such as large language models and agentic AI to support chemical, biological, and material science missions. You will help ensure AI is properly deployed with necessary safeguards, monitor AI assets and identify security gaps, and collaborate with IT stakeholders and leadership to enable AI capabilities.

• Apply AI knowledge to inform strategies and deliver solutions for government clients.
• Ensure proper deployment of AI with safeguards.
• Monitor AI assets and identify security gaps.
• Collaborate with key IT stakeholders and leadership to enable deployment of AI capabilities.

• Experience with AI tools and platforms.
• Experience conducting research and presenting results in written and presentation formats.
• Knowledge of AI tools for chemical and biological solutions such as Alpha Fold.
• Ability to translate AI capabilities and terminology to non‑AI experts.
• Secret clearance (required).
• Bachelor’s degree (in STEM preferred).

• Experience recommending AI tools and platforms into a project or program.
• Knowledge of how AI or ML models are trained.
• Ability to present briefings to leadership.
• Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.

Compensation range: $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD).
