Description

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Provides day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk), Tier 2, and Tier 3 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
• Communicates escalation status to agency management and internal customers.
• Supports dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in resolution.
• Configures and manages UNIX, Linux, Windows (or other applicable) operating systems; installs/loads OS software; troubleshoots, maintains integrity, configures network components; implements OS enhancements for reliability and performance.
• Implements IAVA security patches and ensures patch status is recorded in appropriate systems.
• Optimizes system operations and resource utilization; performs system capacity analysis and planning.
• Provides in-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems.
• Provides detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
• Manages accounts: establishing, activating, modifying, disabling, and removing accounts.
• Communicates and coordinates with the ISSO and ISO regarding system changes as part of the Change and Configuration Management Process.
• Supports the ISO by completing required milestones of POA&M and coordinating status with the ISSO.
• Ensures IT Assets remain compliant with ICAM policy.
• Applies knowledge of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI.
• Supports design of systems, mission architecture, and associated hardware.
• Possesses working knowledge of system administration interdependencies as part of SOA.
• Analyzes and resolves complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.

• Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph Clearance Required
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SA experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Fifteen (15) years’ experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Requires DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification and Computing Environment (CE) Certification. CE certification requirements can be fulfilled with either Microsoft OS, Cent OS/Red Hat OS CE certifications.
• Six (6) years of experience with Service Management (ITSM) is required.
• ITIL 4 platform certification is required.
• If assigned to Directory Services TTOs, experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Active Role Servers, Privileged Account Management (PAM) Services, and MS Exchange are required.
• If assigned to Desktop & Enclave Services TTOs, understanding of mission islands, Trusted Thin Client, and enhanced VDI (e.g., remote GPU and memory scaling) required.
