• Provide technical expertise across the full database lifecycle—from design and development to optimization and implementation.
• Lead the definition of database structures, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval, and contribute to system architecture decisions that support mission-critical operations.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of database solutions.
• Develop and maintain database parser and loading software.
• Support data flow, information storage, retrieval, and analysis activities.
• Translate requirements into database schemas through ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros.
• Develop and update complex queries and data manipulation procedures.
• Contribute to system improvements, optimization, and maintenance planning.
• Design database structures that align with system architecture and performance goals.
• Evaluate and make tradeoffs between data volume, user load, distribution, response times, retention, and security.

• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
• Five (5) years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university
• Five (5) additional years of DBE experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree

• Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and database integration tools
• Experience with cloud-based database storage and retrieval solutions
• Familiarity with performance tuning and version control systems
• Understanding of data security, retention rules, and access controls
