Mid-Level Jira Cloud Workspace Administrator

Job Summary
We are seeking a Mid-Level Jira Cloud Workspace Administrator to support and maintain Jira projects and team work spaces within our Atlassian Cloud environment. This role focuses on workspace and project-level administration rather than full enterprise system administration.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting Agile teams, configuring Jira projects, managing boards and workflows, and assisting users with reporting, automation, and issue management.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Jira work spaces, projects, boards, and configurations.
• Configure workflows, issue types, screens, custom fields, and notifications at the project level.
• Support Scrum and Kanban teams using Jira Cloud.
• Create and manage dashboards, filters, reports, and automation rules.
• Assist users with permissions, project roles, and access requests within assigned work spaces.
• Partner with project managers, product owners, and engineering teams to optimize Jira usage.
• Provide end-user training and troubleshooting support.
• Maintain documentation for workspace configurations and processes.
• Support integrations and coordination with tools such as Confluence and Slack.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and workflow standardization. ________________________________________

Required Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience working with Jira Cloud in a project or workspace administration role.
• Experience configuring Jira boards, workflows, dashboards, and automations.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to support multiple teams and priorities simultaneously. ________________________________________

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with: o Jira Automation o Agile reporting o User access management o Basic API or integration knowledge
• Familiarity with: o Confluence o Microsoft Teams o Slack
• Atlassian certifications are a plus. ________________________________________
