Salary Range: $115,000-$130,000
Location: Annapolis Junction
Description: Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. Provides support to IT systems including day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Offers Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier II (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution. Provides escalation support and status communication to agency management and internal customers.
Supports the dispatch system and hardware issues, remaining involved in the resolution process. Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems, installs and loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components, and implements operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
- One (1) year experience in Linux, Unix, Windows or Cisco OS operating system
- Two (2) years’ experience administering Linux, Unix or Windows Operating System (U//FOUO)
- Two (2) years’ experience supporting applications in the SIGINT environment (U)
- One (1) year experience installing software packages such as ISO and Red Hat package managers (rpm) (U)
- One (1) year experience configuring, troubleshooting, monitoring, and administering a messaging service (such as Java Messaging Service, TIBCO, ActiveMQ, Artemis, Kafka) (U)
- DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification is required. Normally this is fulfilled with Security+.
