Primary Responsibilities SQL Development
- Develop and optimize:
Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers, T-SQL Queries - Analyze execution plans and improve query performance.
- Troubleshoot blocking, deadlocks, and long-running queries.
- Design efficient indexing strategies.
- Implement database performance tuning.
- Design and develop SSIS packages.
- Build ETL processes for:
Data integration, Data migration, Data warehouse loading - Handle data transformation and cleansing.
- Automate file imports and exports.
- Monitor SSIS package execution and troubleshoot failures.
- Design and develop operational and executive reports.
- Create dashboards and analytical reports.
- Implement report subscriptions and automated delivery.
- Optimize report performance.
- Design enterprise database architecture.
- Create logical and physical data models.
- Perform normalization and denormalization.
- Establish database standards and best practices.
- Design highly scalable OLTP and reporting solutions.
- Design multi-tenant and enterprise application databases.
- Conduct root cause analysis.
- Resolve production incidents.
- Monitor wait statistics.
- Analyze memory, CPU, and I/O bottlenecks.
- Tune indexes and statistics.
- Improve SQL workload efficiency.
- Design dimensional models.
- Implement data marts and enterprise data warehouses.
- Build reporting and analytics platforms.
- Support Power BI, SSRS, and BI solutions.
- SQL Server 2016/2019/2022, T-SQL, Query Optimization, Performance Tuning, Indexing, Partitioning, Replication, Always On Availability Groups
- SSIS, SSRS
- Data Modeling, OLTP Architecture, Data Warehousing, Star Schema, Database Security, Data Governance
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server environments.
- Manage SQL Server upgrades, patching, and migrations.
- Configure security, roles, permissions, and auditing.
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
- Manage Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, and replication.
- Monitor database health and capacity planning.
- 14– 18 years of SQL Server experience.
- Enterprise ETL development using SSIS.
- Enterprise reporting using SSRS/Power BI.
- Database architecture and design experience.
- Production support and performance tuning expertise.
- Healthcare, insurance, finance, or large enterprise application experience preferred.
