Data Scientist

Introduction

At Accenture Federal Services, we help the U.S. federal government strengthen national security, improve public safety, and enhance military health. We focus on using technology to drive mission-critical outcomes for defense, national security, civilian, and military health organizations.

As a Data Scientist at AFS, you will transform complex data into actionable intelligence, collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals in a fast-paced environment.

Pay range: $120,000—$220,000 USD.

Salary is based on location. Primary locations include California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB
• Experience working with large‑scale or complex datasets
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, D3, etc.

• Experience in AI/ML, cyber, or SIGINT contexts
• Experience with graph‑based algorithms and analytics
• Familiarity with production‑level deployment of machine learning models
• Knowledge of data mining techniques specific to network logs or structured metadata
• Experience with cloud‑based data analytics platforms
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies in data science projects
• Experience with automated feature engineering or model selection tools
• Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices in analytics

Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance.
