Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering science, or related discipline and minimum of 14 years of system engineering experience is required. Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA;
Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D. Five (5) years of additional SE related experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree, totaling 19 years of SE experience. - Active/current TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
- Experience with designing network solutions using TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and IPv6/SRv6 (Segment Routing v6)
- Experience with designing network solutions using Ethernet Technology (10G, 100G)
- Experience with designing secure network solutions using IPSEC, MACSEC, VPNs
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS and JUNOS
- Proficiency coordinating with vendor on solution technical feasibility, in addition to escalation of network hardware, software and/or other configuration issues
- Experience developing technical business case for development activities
- Minimum of DoD
8570 IAT Level 2 Certification
- Ability to develop test plans and conduct testing of architectures as required
- Ability to perform Tier 3 sustainment as required
- Advanced vendor certification desirable (Cisco and /or Juniper) such as CCIE or CCNP or equivalent

Peraton is seeking a Network Architect to perform as a consultant for leading edge information technologies and methodologies to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. Our dynamic team provides full spectrum network connectivity including architecture, engineering, development, integration, deployment, configuration management, project management and network security services to the global enterprise, as well as systems and cloud engineering services for application modernization and transition of legacy applications into hybrid cloud platforms.
We are currently seeing a Network Architect/Engineer to design the next-generation of WAN architecture.
