Business Intelligence Developer

Interclypse supports several Maryland state agencies in modernizing and sustaining critical systems. Candidates will help ensure the long‑term health and success of the state while growing professionally within Interclypse’s growth‑mindset culture. All positions are required to be onsite at various locations in Maryland.

Responsible for developing and operating business intelligence (BI) platforms, tools, and reports.

• Design, develop and maintain BI solutions, extract, transform, load (ETL) processes, and dashboards.
• Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to ensure the BI solution meets needs.
• Develop data models to support reporting and analytics.
• Implement ETL processes to analyze data from various source systems and data formats.
• Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to understand requirements and objectives.
• Administer testing and troubleshooting.
• Create and update documentation.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field.
• Three (3) years of experience as a BI developer.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with BI tools or software.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse, data lakehouse, and data mart concepts.
• Experience as a BI developer or similar role focusing on data modeling and ETL.
