Job Details DescriptionThe Application Analyst acts as the primary administrator and technical expert for the company's timekeeping and scheduling system. This role ensures the accuracy of pay practices by understanding the internal policies, working closely with HR and Payroll departments. The analyst will provide high-level technical support, configure systems for optimization, generate compliance reports, and train end-users to enhance workflow efficiency within the enterprise.
Required education:
Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a Health Care related field.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in configuring time and attendance software (e.g., Pay rules, overtime rules, scheduling, shift patterns). Excel experience, intermediate level. SQL experience, Reporting experience
- Communication & Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with both IT teams and stakeholders in departments across the organization.
- Analytical Ability: Strong skills in auditing data integrity and generating reports.
Key Responsibilities
- System Configuration & Optimization: Perform system configurations and maintenance. Manage addition/expiration of new job codes, positions, and profiles based on requests received. Handle bi-weekly permissions and application access, including Org Unit changes, Job Changes, and employee terminations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Generate historical data trends, audit data integrity, and produce monthly reports, including Contractor, Qualivis, Employee Sign-off compliance, and others.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting system issues and collaborating on resolution. Provide ongoing, enterprise-wide support for employees.
- End-User Training: Train users in software functionality and troubleshooting methodologies, once a month.
- Project Participation & Upgrades: Participate in the implementation of new system releases, collaborating with the functional team to efficiently plan and implement configurations, installations, or updates.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for all system configurations and change control procedures.
- Other functions: Year-end Processes, Payroll Monday Processes, Finance Schedule, Process Help Desk Tickets, Intranet updates/additions/removal of information. Create reports, database analysis, maintenance of Budget system.
Work Environment
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
- May require flexible hours during upgrades, system go-lives, or to meet specific scheduling deadlines.

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. If position is part-time, salary will be pro-rated based on scheduled hours. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable.
Salary Range: $76,190.40 - $109,512.
Qualifications EducationRequired:
Bachelors or better in Computer Science or related field.
