Position: Data Analyst/Business Analyst with Security Clearance

Location and Compensation

Hybrid – Fort Detrick, MD. Salary Range: $,000 annually. Factors influencing pay include geography, market demand, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Kentro is hiring for a Data Analyst/Business Analyst to support the Defense Health Agency and the Medical Logistics IT division.

Responsibilities
  • Complete functional data analysis based on current business problems.
  • Responsible for oversight, tracking and reporting on all Logi Cole deliverables on data and reporting.
  • Coordinate requirements/acceptance criteria with the functional community and validate that the product meets the acceptance criteria prior to accepting functionality.
  • Conduct data analytics on enterprise data to support enterprise metrics, analytics and Business Intelligence requirements.
  • High focus on organizing data to improve business processes and interfaces.
  • Conduct System Lifecycle Extension Program (SLEP) analyses to assess asset health, identify lifecycle risks, and deliver data-driven recommendations that optimize sustainment planning and long-term readiness.
  • Develops and manages information to support strategic decision-making.
  • Performs complex analyses and communicates findings to business owners and senior leaders.
  • Conducts and facilitates (and educates and trains on) analyses, data research, data manipulation, risk assessment, solution development, and strategic alignment.
  • Provides consulting and analytic services to leadership.
  • Works across value streams to lead and support project management activities in the implementation of the Logi Cole application.
  • Supports various strategic and business process improvement efforts.
  • Makes improvement recommendations in collaboration with Government Leads and Product Owners.
Location

The primary work location is onsite at Fort Detrick, MD. If the candidate meets all client requirements, possible work arrangements can be made for other locations.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Data Science or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field or applicable experience.
  • Experience as a management consultant/business analyst supporting federal government customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • DoW experience and/or familiarity strongly preferred.
  • Experience using statistical methods for the measurement of outcomes.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% based on project needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with federal supply chain, policies, processes and data.
  • Experience with Medical Logistics.
