Data Analyst​/Business Analyst

Thank you for considering IT Concepts dba Kentro, where innovation drives opportunity and collaboration leads to success. Kentro is hiring a Data Analyst/Business Analyst to support the Defense Health Agency’s Medical Logistics IT division.

Location: Hybrid – Fort Detrick, MD

Salary Range: $150,000–$160,000 annually (geographic, market demand, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications may influence pay within this range).

• Complete functional data analysis based on current business problems.
• Oversee, track, and report all Logi Cole deliverables on data and reporting.
• Coordinate requirements/acceptance criteria with the functional community and validate that the product meets acceptance criteria before acceptance.
• Conduct data analytics on enterprise data to support metrics, analytics, and BI requirements.
• Organize data to improve business processes and interfaces.
• Perform System Lifecycle Extension Program (SLEP) analyses to assess asset health, identify lifecycle risks, and deliver data‑driven recommendations that optimize sustainment planning and long‑term readiness.
• Develop and manage information to support strategic decision‑making.
• Perform complex analyses and communicate findings to business owners and senior leaders.
• Facilitate analyses, data research, data manipulation, risk assessment, solution development, and strategic alignment; coach and train stakeholders.
• Provide consulting and analytic services to leadership.
• Lead and support project management activities for the implementation of the Logi Cole application across value streams.
• Support various strategic and business process improvement efforts.
• Recommend improvements in collaboration with Government Leads and Product Owners.
• Primary work location is onsite at Fort Detrick, MD; other locations may be considered if client requirements are met.

• 10+ years of experience in Data Science or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent applicable experience.
• Experience as a management consultant or business analyst supporting federal government customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience with DoD acquisition and/or Federal A&Q processes (preferred).
• Experience using statistical methods for outcome measurement.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.

• Experience with federal supply chain policies, processes, and data.
• Experience with Medical Logistics.

• U.S. citizen.
• Willing and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
