SCCM/MCM Systems Engineer

Deliver simple solutions to complex problems by tailoring cutting‑edge SCCM/MCM solutions to the unique requirements of our clients. Focus on the end user experience and support career growth.

Duties include:

monitoring SCCM infrastructure system health; managing boundaries and collections; making required configuration changes; investigating, analyzing and resolving technical issues and actively pursuing mechanisms for preventing or automating responses to reoccurrences.

• Ensure that the SCCM infrastructure functions properly with PKI‑based authentication, corporate authorization services, firewalls and SSL/TLS communications.
• Contribute to the development and ongoing improvement of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise desktop technologies.
• Assist with the enterprise Microsoft patch ingest/test/deployment cycle (Patch Tuesday).
• Assist with testing and deploying hotfixes, patches and new releases to the SCCM infrastructure.
• Assist with the development of knowledge articles, documentation and work instructions used by the SCCM, server, desktop teams, Tier 2/3 help desk technicians and remote/deployed units.

Education:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science.

Experience:

8+ years of related experience.

Required Technical

Skills:

Direct experience in the implementation, administration and configuration of SCCM in a global enterprise environment (hundreds to thousands of endpoints) across multiple air‑gap networks;
Windows Server administration (Win Server 2016, 2019 or 2022 or Windows SQL Server); extensive troubleshooting of standard Windows client platform administration and rights management; experience managing desktop OS images for large corporate environments and desktop deployment automation architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting; extensive knowledge of the Windows registry, driver interaction, and unattended/silent installs of Windows operating systems.

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI with polygraph.

Skills and Abilities:

Solid knowledge of the Windows registry and driver interaction; unattended/silent Windows installs;
Active Directory and Group Policy objects; building MSIs using automated tools; support for external WSUS customers; experience with Service Now integrations; programming experience in Power Shell or Python; experience with data analytics applications such as Splunk or the Elastic ELK stack.

Location:

On site; US citizenship required; 40 hours per week; day‑shift Monday‑Friday with after‑hours on‑call availability.
